Most wall decor says “nice room.” This says “the legions may call at any moment.” This Roman Scutum Shield is a high-quality replica based on the shields used by Roman legionaries, especially useful in the famous testudo formation, which is Latin for tortoise and frankly a much better name for office teamwork. Made from linen-covered wood, hand painted and finished with a brass boss and reinforced edges, it is not subtle. But subtle is overrated if you ask me. Hang it, display it or keep it ready for the zombie apocalypse... it's just “sensible planning.”
