‣ Do you earn money when I buy through your links?
Some links are affiliate links, which means if you click and buy, we might earn a small commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra. Think of it as you quietly buying us a biscuit for our trouble.
‣ Are your product choices influenced by commissions?
Nope. We feature things because they make us grin, raise an eyebrow, or solve a problem in an unexpectedly clever way. It may pay well but if it's dull, it’s not getting through our door.
‣ Have you tested all the products you feature?
We wish! Unfortunately we haven't tried/tested all of these products ourselves but when have, we mark it with a little “QG-OK” stamp on it, so you know it’s been in our grubby little hands. Everything else is featured because it genuinely seems clever, funny, or worth a closer look.
‣ What’s with the “QG-OK” mark?
That’s our stamp for things we actually own or have tested. Basically: we’ve poked it, pressed the buttons and it survived.
‣ How do you decide what makes it onto Quirky Guide?
We hunt for the unusual, the smart, and the “why didn’t we think of that?” stuff. It could be brilliant design, pure nonsense, or something in between, as long as it sparks curiosity.
‣ I bought something you suggested but didn’t like it. Can you refund me?
Sorry, no. We don’t sell products directly. All purchases are made through external shops. Everything here is listed in good faith, but it’s up to you to decide if it meets your standards. That said, we’d genuinely appreciate your feedback through our contact form; if it truly is a disaster we’ll consider removing it from the site.
‣ What if I find a product that’s no longer available?
That happens sometimes. Links die, shops vanish, the internet moves on. If you spot one, please tell us! There’s a “Report a broken link” form for that very reason.
‣ Can I suggest something for you to feature?
Please do! If you’ve found something gloriously weird, clever or just… questionable, send it our way. The stranger, the better.
‣ Can you add my product to your listings?
Maybe! If it fits the Quirky spirit, unusual, smart or just makes us smile, we’ll take a look. We can’t guarantee a feature but we do love discovering new curiosities.
‣ Can I send you a sample of my product?
You definitely can! Reach out to us via this form and we'll arrange something. If it’s something we like, we’ll test it and mark it accordingly.
